Illawarra Midwives is a private, personalised midwifery practice, part of Midwyf Services, which has been providing caring, experienced and safe midwifery care for women and their families for over 25 years.
We provide early pregnancy care through labour and birth and in the first crucial weeks of the new baby’s life, or any part of these if you wish. We provide this care wherever you feel safest to birth, whether that is at home or in hospital.

Marie has worked in private midwifery practice providing woman- and family-centred care in South Sydney, Illawarra, southern NSW and the ACT for over 26 years. Marie has been privileged to have assisted families with the birth of over 500 babies during this time. She has a wealth of experience gained over the 40 years she has been a midwife.
Marie is committed to providing sensitive midwifery care, continuity of care and carer and supporting women’s birth choices. She believes that every woman is unique and that her care must reflect this.
Marie has confidence in every woman’s potential to birth naturally.
