Breastfeeding Support

The early days after your baby’s arrival are a special time during which you and your baby get to know each other. A key part of your relationship is breastfeeding. After a normal birth most babies and mothers when given time to get to know each other will breastfeed without difficulty. Some mothers and babies may need additional support to get the early days off to a good start.

We are passionate about protecting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding given the long term health and emotional implications for both mother and baby. We have many years experience and qualifications to support your breastfeeding journey and bring this to all our care.

We can provide breastfeeding preparation and education during pregnancy so that you are well-prepared to start your breastfeeding relationship with your baby.

After your baby is born we can provide assistance to help you and your baby have a fulfilling breastfeeding relationship. Ingrid is a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and can provide this support in your home. Ingrid has been providing breastfeeding support for 20 years and would be delighted to discuss your breastfeeding goals with you.
